XYZ School of Archaeology

Our School has eight full-time teaching staff, all of whom are acknowledged experts in their fields of research. Other staff members include a draughtsperson, a computer and information technology specialist and an excavation and post-excavation specialist. The School also has a vibrant postgraduate community many of whom act as tutors and demonstrators for undergraduate classes.

Archaeology is an exciting subject and a rewarding career. The massive growth in the Swedish economy, which has led to urban renewal and the development of new roads, has greatly increased employment opportunities for archaeologists in recent years, while the increased general interest in archaeology as a leisure activity can be seen in the continuing growth of the heritage industry. Graduates of this School have always been successful in finding employment in professional archaeology and in other walks of life.

Whether you intend staying with us to completion of your BA and beyond, or choose to pursue your other subjects after First Year, we hope you enjoy your time in XYZ, and that you find both academic success and personal reward during your time here.
